Astral Projection
It’s such a captivating term, isn’t it?
In the stillness of the night, when everyone else is asleep, imagine leaving your physical body behind, traveling to far-off countries, and even exploring the vastness of the universe.
If I could do that, how sweet and thrilling would it be? During the day, I’m bound by the exhausting routines of life, but at night, I could become a truly free spirit, soaring wherever I please.
I can say with confidence that I’ve watched every YouTube video on astral projection—both American and Korean—and read every post in online forums and communities. I’ve also scoured every video I could find on near-death experiences, again from both American and Korean sources.
Thanks to that, my English listening skills have improved so much that if I were a high school student taking an English listening test today, I’d probably score a perfect 100.
Naturally, I tried astral projection myself.
Did I succeed?
Well, it wasn’t exactly a success or a failure. I just stopped in the middle—because I got scared.
As many people describe, when I attempted astral projection in that hazy, half-dream state, I felt vibrations in my body. I knew it wasn’t my body or the bed shaking, but I could distinctly feel these vibrations spreading from my stomach outward. They were incredibly intense, and my body started trembling.
It hit me then: the things I’d read about astral projection were real.
But at that moment, fear took over, and I stopped myself.
After that, whenever I had some free time in my life, I tried astral projection again, but I usually just ended up falling asleep.
Then one day, quite unexpectedly, I came across a sermon by an American pastor. Ironically, the sermon was about astral projection. I think he might have been a youth pastor… he seemed to have a deep understanding of this topic.
He explained the history of astral projection, and this is what he said:
Spiritual practice with roots in ancient occult traditions
Astral projection is a spiritual practice with roots in ancient occult traditions, and it falls under the category of “abominations” that God warns against in the Old Testament. Why? Because when God created humans, He made us as a unity of spirit, soul, and body, and He intended for us to access the spiritual realm only through Him. When humans try to leave their bodies and wander the spiritual world on their own, interacting with unverified spiritual entities, it goes against God’s created order.
Moreover, when you leave your body and enter the spiritual realm, the entities you encounter there are often fallen angels—demons. Getting spiritually entangled with such beings can lead you further away from God’s grace and truth, and it can even ruin your daily life.
Give and Take.
If you look at youtube, there are countless testimonies about this.
Why? Because in the spiritual realm, there’s a clear law of “give and take.”
Radiant angel of light?
Think about it: if anyone encounters a spiritual being in the spiritual realm—say, one that looks like a radiant angel of light—the words that being speaks will feel like absolute truth. Why? Because you’ve seen, met, and heard something that others haven’t experienced.
But how can you be sure that what they say is 100% true? What if, when you finally cross the Jordan River after death, the spiritual reality turns out to be completely different? That’s why I’m writing this—to warn you about the dangers.
I believe the readers who’ve come across this post are likely very interested in this topic, which is why you’re here. When I was deeply immersed in astral projection, my God kept speaking to me through various means, telling me over and over that engaging in such practices is not right and that it’s something God considers an abomination.
Here’s a passage from the Bible:
Deuteronomy 18:10-12
“Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord…”
Below, I’ve shared a link to a message from a guy who talks about the dangers of astral projection and other risky New Age practices that are prevalent among today’s generation. I hope it’s helpful.
